Privacy policy
Effective 27 September 2026. This policy covers forwardgrade.com, run by Forward Grade LLC, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
What we collect
Only what you type into the request form: your name, work email, facility or company, the kind of grain buyer you are, the grain you buy, and any message you add. If you email us directly, we receive your email and whatever it contains.
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
When you send the form, your browser keeps the times of your recent sends in its local storage so the page allows at most five every 15 minutes. Those times stay on your device and are never sent to us.
How we use it
To reply to your request and to talk with you about a pilot or the methodology. We do not sell or rent your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who handles it for us
- Formspree receives form submissions and forwards them to us by email. Its own privacy policy applies to how it stores them.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive.
- GitHub Pages hosts the site. Like any web host, it may log technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, under GitHub's privacy statement. We do not receive or use those logs.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are in conversation with you about a pilot, and then no longer than we need to keep a record of that conversation. Ask and we will delete it sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us by emailing adrian@forwardgrade.com. We will answer within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law, and we honor these requests wherever you live.
Children
The site is for grain buyers and businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as financial account details through the form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
